Volume is a program initiated by Gensler, a global design firm, in partnership with the Chicago Public Schools.
The idea is simple: we’re challenging designers to make Chicago’s schools better places, where kids learn to love reading. Our theory is that activated libraries empower students and can transform public schools.
By advancing literacy and supporting public education, we’re hoping to make Chicago an even better city.
